Hi, this is Drake, and I wanted to share a few thoughts with all of our many friends and readers on the topic of love. With Valentine's Day so quickly approaching it's important I think that we begin to remember the importance of this great and cosmic force surrounding us all. As commercialized as this particular day in February has become throughout the years, it's important to remember that love is more than just a cheap idea to be marketed and commercialized. It is eternal. When the day comes and goes, what then? Will we still place such an emphasis on the importance of love and on loving those around us? Now, I have to admit tot you all that I am a hopeless romantic. Perhaps slightly more hopeless than romantic, but that's another blog for another day. It never ceases to amaze me the number of times we so casually look forward to this great, upcoming day as if love itself can, or should be, confined to one day of the calender year. Lauren Ashley and I have these conversations all the time, and, being the analytical minds that we are, we're always trying to understand more. "What is love?" "Why do we love?" "Is love eternal?" If you're reading this today and you find yourself alone, remember that you are never truly alone in any way. You just feel that way. I assure you that the sun will come up on Valentine's Day, like on every other day, and you will have a wonderful day if only you begin to think of how truly blessed you are. Enjoy music. Spend time with those amazing friends in your life. Go to dinner, and enjoy a glass of pinot noir. You are more beautiful than you could ever realize, and the world will soon take notice. If, at first, you begin to take notice of yourself. Now, for those of you reading this today that have a relationship that you just absolutely adore, remember that although this upcoming day is centered around the idea of love, love itself should also always exist on the other 364 days of the year. Remember that, in the end, love is not something we're all out here trying to chase or find in order to feel better about ourselves. Love is who we are. We are love. We give it away by recognizing that it is within us always. It can never be taken away. It never will be. Even in pain and heartbreak love will always exist. Have you been broken and wounded? What a perfect time to begin to love yourself more! Are you in a relationship that you find to be absolutely wonderful? Keep loving like always. After the roses die and the chocolates are all gone, remember that the eternal fire within is still there in an ever-abundant supply, just beyond the surface. Keep it up! We're so proud of you!
We love you all so much! For more thoughts on love from my new book, or for daily inspiration, follow me on my fan page! By the way, I love Lauren Ashley.

this was so beautifully written. you're completely right, love cannot be confined to one day out of the whole year, it should be a long on going thing that just takes place in your life. hope you have a great day.
