Tomorrow marks an anniversary for me and Drake. I've been working on a book for Drake. We're going to fill the rest of the pages out together. I started it for us though. I've been wondering what exactly to get him. I don't want to be cheesy, but I don't want to go overboard. During this time I've realized the greatest gift is what he has given me every day. His love. It's taught me a lot. It's taught me that I can't always expect things to go as planned and that I ALWAYS need a backup plan. It's taught me that education isn't everything that the world makes it out to be. It's taught me that no matter how much I weigh, how much I hate my thousands of freckles, no matter how much I hate the way my hair looks some days - he loves me just the same. He's given me something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. He's helped me to transform from a little girl controlled by the world, family's opinions, and a whole lot of negativity into a girl that doesn't have to put up with that. Someone that is beautiful and knows it. Someone that realizes there's so much more to life than being trapped inside walls studying over stupid things that aren't going to be of use to me in life. These are things that I will take with me until the day that I die. Granted tomorrow is the 'official' day of love, don't forget that every day can be that way and is. You shouldn't have to wait until the 14th of February just to show/know/want/need/feel/desire/give that. Love every day.If you're stumped on what to give your other half, simply make a mixtape or write them a note. Sometimes the smaller things mean more than the bigger things, trust me.
I hope everyone enjoys their tomorrow whether you're single, in a relationship, or even married! (incase I don't update tomorrow!)

ReplyDeletelets see...hmm.. i cut up a lot of photos and put them on the pages, wrote little poems, song lyrics, rose petals...also put some poetry he wrote me in there...it wasn't too long though
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the cover! I think you should put a few PF Changs pictures in there, a few hotel keys, a lot of sephora stuff to symbolize you, and A few pictures of you and him in there. You two are awesome. Don't forget the skeleton keys that you love!
