Day 4. Going after someone you want, taking chances.

Have you ever had that feeling when you look at someone and just KNOW that you two would really hit it off well? Then this is for you! I’m telling you firsthand that if you DON’T go for that person you’ve been dying to get to know then you may just miss out on something that could have been life-changing. He has the same favorite band as you, you both prefer vegan meals, you like the way his smile is goofy and charming at the same time. Come on! Admit it, you REALLY like him. I’ve come to realize that guys (and girls too) can be completely oblivious as to catching ‘signs’ that you like them. Sometimes you just have to ‘man-up’ and take that chance. Most of the time, unless they’re a complete douche, it’ll fall in your favor. You just have to take courage and sometimes YOU have to be the one that initiates things. So you’re shy: shyly ask him. That’s fine. Valentine’s Day is coming up. Ask him what he’s doing (if he’s single then he won’t be doing anything! Duh.) Ask if he wants to hang out, order pizza, and play some Xbox or board games or even watch a movie. Even if you don’t like Xbox or if you completely suck, he’ll think you’re absolutely adorable for trying. Take interest in HIS interests. (this is kinda getting into another post of mine – whoops!) Ask him out to coffee, but also ask if he would like to ‘catch some dinner’.. or something along the lines. I’m speaking completely from experience. This is how Drake and I ended up to be, and look at us now. If you don’t take that chance, someone else will. Go for it!

 

Behind every achievement is someone who dared to try. 

 

The best things in life, are often the things we least expect. The things was believe will never fall into place or work out. The things that we think can never be. But always in the end, prove that some things are just worth the wait for an amazing and lasting surprise.

You never know how much you love someone, until the thought of him being with another girl is enough to break your heart.

The only guy that deserves you… is the one that thinks he doesn’t. the one that’ll stick by your side… no matter how much you mess up. and the one who will forgive you… mistake after mistake.

 I don't want a fairytale ending with you. I want to be
there to help you face your fears and to help you overcome
your failures. I want to give you the kind of love that's not
distorted and fabricated, but real, raw and honest. You're
not perfect, and neither am I. But, when we're together I
can believe that things will always fall into place.

 At the end of the day, I want to be able to fall  asleep knowing that our lives are intertwined in a way only we can understand.
