Thrifty Sunday + New blog look!

I've decided to start doing weekly postings of things I can actually relate to and keep up with. I hope some of you find this post interesting and I hope it inspires you! I love cameras. I've always liked polaroid cameras, but it's pretty pricey to get your hands on some film. Everytime I go to Goodwill (or any thriftstore for that matter) I head straight to the electronics looking for polaroid cameras. I generally buy all that they have if there are any. We have two goodwills in my small hometown of Hernando, MS. There's the normal goodwill and then there's what me and my mom nick-named the "last resort Goodwill" because they literally get all the junk Goodwill doesn't want and they ship whatever they don't sell to third-world countries. Yeah, that was blunt. Anyway, sometimes I come across GREAT finds though since no one happens to go there because it's a pretty dirty, hot, and cluttered place. Last week I went and I found: A dress/shirt? (to be questioned!) that's originally from a expensive boutique of somekind but it's very hippy-ish/vintage and put with the right belt, it makes an adorable top! I'll do an outfit post at some point. I've decided to do my first outfit post when my outfit from Modcloth that I got thanks to Artichoke Designs (check the blog out!!) so be watching! Anyway back to my story. I also found two polaroid cameras. I found the grandaddy of them all, I think? Well, it's the polaroid cameras that you see in tattoos and on shirts and whatnot. Therefore I'm keeping it and putting it on a shelf in my new apartment. The second one was your standard polaroid, but it's the first one that I know for sure WORKS. The redlight came on and you won't believe what happened when I opened it, there was film. FILM! I know! Crossing my fingers that it's not busted film.

Well I hope you've all had a great weekend. Mine has been great but sucky at the same time. Friday, well, I can't even remember Friday. Saturday I woke up at 6 in the morning and did a both at a spring spree sale at a church from 9-5... then I rushed over to the Hollywood Casino to babysit three children until 3:30 in the morning and I became very, very sick during the process. I'm going to take some medicine and knock myself out until I wake up somepoint Sunday! I'm writing this in the wee hours of Sunday, but I'm writing this as if it's already happened, I know.... I think I write better at night? Yeah?
