Taking Heart

This is Drake, and I'm writing today to share a few thoughts on the importance of living with passion. Lauren Ashley is away for a doctor's appointment, and so please remember to keep her in your thoughts as well today.  I know that I can speak for both of us when I say that we count it such a tremendous joy and honor to share our thoughts with you each and every single day, welcoming you into our lives and minds.  Thank you for all that you do, and thank you for continuing to be a part of this.  In ancient, Roman times, when a citizen of nobility died, there was rarely ever a funeral or eulogy given like we would recognize within our society today.  They were much different.  One question was rather asked.  "Did they live with passion?"  Today, centuries later, I can't help but find that the question is still so very important, as it causes us to reevaluate our human experience on this earth.  "Are we living with passion?"  Do we awaken to a brand new day resolved to live with a little more heart and determination?  It is so vitally important that we recognize now, before we lose any more time, that our life and our purpose here is so much more beautiful than we could ever truly comprehend.  It is so much more.  So much more vibrant.  So much more meaningful.  Today I encourage you to begin to take heart like never before.  Begin to realize that the passion you place into your life is the passion that will return to you in everything that you do.  Be passionate about those in you life that you love.  Be passionate about your job.  Be passionate about your family.  Be passionate about your spirituality.  Most of all be passionate about love.  It is the only gift that will ever truly be given back, and it is such a beautiful thing.  Learn to take heart, because when you do you finally begin to live.
